This paper provides a procedure for splitting the operations in any algebraic operad, generalizing various known splitting of algebraic structures. Applications to \(n\)-algebras, \(A\)-infinity algebras, and \(L\)-infinity algebras are given. Moreover, Rota-Baxter operators are extended to all operads.
