Exceptionally simple PDE (Q1694865): Difference between revisions

This long paper provides explicit descriptions of parabolic contact structures and explicit PDEs with the symmetry algebra belonging to the class of complex simple Lie algebras excepting \(sl_2\). On this way it is obtained a uniform generalization of the Cartan-Engel models for the \(G_2\) case. The harmonic curvature of a \(G_2\)-contact structure is computed as well as the submaximally symmetric models for general \(G\)-contact structures.
