Strongly homotopy Lie algebras or \(L_\infty\)-algebras are natural generalisations of Lie algebras and Lie superalgebras. (In this paper the vector spaces are \(\mathbb{Z}_2\)-graded with an ordinary \(n\) dimensional vector space being considered as a \(0| n\) dimensional vector space.) The authors give a complete characterisation of all non-equivalent \(L_\infty\)-structures on a \(1| 2\) dimensional space. They show, for instance, that the structure of the moduli space of codifferentials starting with a term of degree \(N\) is independent of \(N\) if \(N>1\) and examine extensions of such degree \(N\) codifferentials.
