Coproduct for Yangians of affine Kac-Moody algebras (Q1789502): Difference between revisions

The main result of this paper is the construction of a coproduct on the Yangian \(Y(\mathfrak{g})\) associated to an affine Kac-Moody algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\), which is a natural analog of the standard coproduct on Yangians of finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras. It is shown that this coproduct is an algebra homomorphism by giving a minimalistic presentation of the Yangian in the more general case where the Kac-Moody algebra is symmetrizable. This coproduct can be used to define a module structure on the tensor product of two modules in the category \(\mathcal O\) of modules over the Yangian \(Y(\mathfrak{g})\) without any convergence issues.
