Projectors or hermitian idempotents are constructed for quantum Euclidean spheres \(S_q^{N-1}\) introduced in [\textit{L. D. Faddeev, N. Y. Reshetikhin} and \textit{L. A. Takhtadzhyan}, Leningr. Math. J. 1, 193-225 (1990; Zbl 0715.17015)]. Each such projection is an element of the matrix algebra \(\text{ Mat}_{2^n}(S_q^{N-1})\), where \(N=2n\) in the even dimensional case and \(N=2n+1\) in the odd dimensional case, and is of rank \(2^{n-1}\). The low dimensional cases with \(N=3,4,5,6\) are studied in detail. These projections describe monopoles (\(N=3\)), solitons (\(N=4,6\)) and instantons (\(N=5\)) on \(S_q^{N-1}\). The procedure in the general case is outlined. Also, projections \(e_\perp\), \(e_{\text{ Cot}}\) corresponding to normal and cotangent bundles over \(S_q^{N-1}\) are described. These are elements of \(\text{ Mat}_{N}(S_q^{N-1})\), complementary to each other with respective ranks \(1\) and \(N-1\).
