The authors introduce induced twisted modules of a vertex operator algebra from those of a subalgebra. Their motivation is to understand irreducible modules of a subalgebra fixed by an automorphism subgroup of a vertex operator algebra. Their induced functor satisfies the Frobenius reciprocity and transitivity. The results are illustrated for special cases.
