    This work is devoted to the study of one-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) with a focusing \(p\)-power nonlinearity supported at a single point according to Dirac delta distribution. The purpose of the paper is to extend the previously known results for the \(d\)-dimensional translationally invariant NLS with \(p\)-power nonlinearity extended on the entire space. The critical Sobolev space \(\dot{H}^{\sigma}(\mathbb{R})\) is known to be \(\sigma_c = \frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{p-1}\), which is zero in the physically important cubic case \(p = 2\). Therefore, the NLS is \(L^2\)-critical in the cubic case. The following results were obtained in the paper: \begin{itemize} \item[(1)] Local well-posedness was proven in \(H^1\). \item[(2)] Lower bound on the blow-up rate in \(\dot{H}^1\) is obtained near the blow-up time (if it happens). \item[(3)] A sharp Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality is obtained. \item[(4)] The sharp Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality and the local virial identity are applied to derive the sharp threshold on global existence versus blow-up both in the \(L^2\)-critical case with \(\sigma_c = 0\) (\(p=3\)) and the \(L^2\)-supercritical case with \(\sigma_c > 0\) (\(p > 3\)). \item[(5)] A sharp mass concentration result is proven in the \(L^2\)-critical case. \item[(6)] Minimal mass blow-up solutions are characterized in the \(L^2\)-critical case with pseudoconformal transformations of the ground state. \item[(7)] Blow-up solutions with near minimal mass are also studied in the \(L^2\)-critical case. These solutions are, up to scaling and phase, perturbations of the ground state. \end{itemize}
