This work provides an original generalization of the theory of linearized and skew polynomials to a more general setting. The results extend classical Lam and Leroy's results for univariate skew polynomials to the multivariate case. Concretely, the author introduces linearized multivariate skew polynomials over division rings and studies their evaluations in connection to the remainder-based evaluation of free multivariate skew polynomials. Furthermore, he develops the theory of linearized multivariate Vandermonde matrices. These matrices generalize multivariate Vandermonde, Moore and Wronskian matrices, and their rank can be explictly computed exploiting the theory of linearized multivariate skew polynomials. Finally, P-Galois extensions of division rings are introduced, which generalize classical (finite) Galois extensions. Here, the author successfully extends three classical Galois-theoretic results to this framewrok: Artin's theorem on extension degrees, the Galois correspondence and Hilbert's Theorem 90.
