The authors consider the classical optimal transport (COT), the Wasserstein distance between two probability Borel measures. Then, they compare COT with the quantum optimal transportation (QOT) which is not a distance. Precisely, the authors state that QOT is strictly less than COT whenever a few meaningful conditions are complied. The article is endowed with concrete examples.
