The authors of this article consider the nodal length of Steklov eigenfunctions on real-analytic Riemann surfaces with boundary and prove upper and lower bounds for it using frequency function methods for harmonic functions in the interior of the surface. Additonally, they construct exponentially accurate approximations for the Steklov eigenfunctions close to the boundary.
