This aricle is very nice and important. A \emph{corner} of a Leavitt path algebra given by a non-zero idempotent \(\varepsilon\) is the intersection of left and right ideals generated by \(\varepsilon\), respectively. The main result, Theorem 3.15 showed that every corner of a Leavitt path algebra associated to a finite graph is again a Leavitt path algebra. Its proof requires several preparatory, interesting results on Leavitt path algebras and graph operations. In particular, Theorem 3.15 implies that a corner at any vertex is always a Leavitt path algebra. Therefore this consequence confirms again the importance and the specific role of the classical Leavitt and Cohn algebras in the study of Leavitt path algebra.
