Convex potentials and optimal shift generated oblique duals in shift invariant spaces (Q2397689): Difference between revisions

This paper introduces the so-called convex potentials for frames of translates and shows that there are natural extensions of the convex potentials for finite frames. It also describes in detail the fine spectral structure of the frame operators of shift generated oblique dual frames of a fixed frame of translates, by means of which the paper studies the problem of optimal design of oblique dual frames of a fixed finitely shift generated frame under certain norm restrictions.
