Let \(u\) be a subharmonic function on \(\mathbb{R}^{n}\) (\(n\geq 3\))\ of non-integer order \(\rho \) and finite type, and suppose that its Riesz measure \(\mu \) lies on the negative \(x_{1}\)-axis. The author shows that, if \(\left| x\right| ^{-\rho }u(x)\) has a limit as \(x\rightarrow \infty \) along a suitable ray, then \(t^{2-n-\rho }\mu (\{\left| x\right| \leq t\})\) also has a limit as \(t\rightarrow \infty \), and \(\left| x\right| ^{-\rho }u(x)\) has a limit as \(x\rightarrow \infty \) along any ray distinct from the negative \(x_{1}\)-axis. Further, a precise description is given of the relationship between these various limits.
