The Smoluchowski coagulation equation is a coupled system of PDE that describes the evolving densities of a system of diffusing particles that are prone to coagulate in pairs. The authors obtain some bounds of moments of a solution for the considered problem in the \(L^1\) and \(L^{\infty}\) norm. Moreover, it is proved that, under some suitable hypotheses, the considered problem has a unique solution and this solution is mass conserving.
