Comparing with their note [Ill. J. Math. 49, 1--16 (2005; Zbl 1077.22004)] in the paper under review the authors study so-called unimodular locally compact groups, that is, groups whose left Haar measure is equal to the right one, and prove a main theorem. Theorem. A locally compact group \(G\) is unimodular if and only if it is approximable by finite quasigroups. To show the theorem, the following results are proved: 1. Any non-discrete locally compact unimodular group \(G\) is approximable by finite quasigroups. 2. Any locally compact unimodular group \(G\) is approximable by finite loops. The proofs of the above results are technique.
