As the title suggests, the authors prove the Gamma conjecture II for the quantum cohomology of a smooth quadric hypersurfaces in the projective space. The Gamma conjecture II has been proposed by \textit{S. Galkin} et al. [Duke Math. J. 165, No. 11, 2005--2077 (2016; Zbl 1350.14041)], and the precise statement can be found in \S\:2.4 in this paper. As explained in the introduction, it is a refinement of the qualitative part of Dubrovin's conjecture, which predicts the equivalence between the semi-smiplicity of the quantum cohomology of a smooth projective variety \(X\) and the existence of full exceptional collections in the bounded derived category \(\mathcal{D}^b(X)\) of coherent sheaves on \(X\). The Gamma conjecture II concerns the asymptotic behaviour of flat sections of the Dubrovin connection near the irregular singularities. It has been proven for Grassmannians [\textit{G. Cotti} et al., ``Helix Structures in Quantum Cohomology of Fano Varieties'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1811.09235}; \textit{S. Galkin} et al., Duke Math. J. 165, No. 11, 2005--2077 (2016; Zbl 1350.14041)], toric Fano manifolds [\textit{B. Fang} and \textit{P. Zhou}, ``Gamma II for toric varieties from integrals on T-dual branes and homological mirror symmetry'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1903.05300}], and Hirzebruch surfaces [\textit{G. Cotti}, Cyclic stratum of Frobenius manifolds, Borel-Laplace \((\alpha,\beta)\)-multitransforms, and integral representations of solutions of quantum differential equations. Berlin: European Mathematical Society (EMS) (2022; Zbl 07643643)]. The authors approach to prove the conjecture by establishing a criterion on Gamma II (Theorem 3.8). An important assumption in this criterion is the convergence of quantum cohomology, or the generating functions of Gromov-Witten invariants, whose proof for the quadrics are given in Theorem 5.1.
