The principal result of this paper is a significant extension of a theorem of \textit{P. Masani}, ``Ergodic theorems for locally integrable semigroups of continuous linear operators on a Banach space'', Adv. Math. 21, 202-228 (1976; Zbl 0334.47004). The extension here is to weighted multivariate cases, and some corollaries and remarks are also included. For definitions and bibliography see the paper under review and the paper quoted above.
