The Schur \(Q\)-functions are among the most useful tools in combinatorics. In the present paper some new relations for them are obtained. The author has used the theory of representations of affine Lie algebras in order to establish that the (skew) \(Q\)-functions are Pfaffians of some matrices. These matrices are rather convenient for computations. As corollaries some identities involving \(Q\)-functions are obtained.
