Global constrained null-controllability of nonlinear neutral systems (Q1194456): Difference between revisions

The null-controllability of nonlinear neutral systems is studied in the case when the controls are continuous vector valued functions with values constrained to lie in the unit \(m\)-dimensional cube. The state space is assumed to be the space of continuous functions \(C([-h,0],E^ n)\), where \(E^ n\) is Euclidean \(n\)-dimensional space and \(h>0\). The importance of this constrained null-controllability is due to its application in the resolution of the problem of reaching the function space origin of the neutral equation in minimum time. The existence of an optimal control is guaranteed by the null-controllability of the system.
