In the 1200-s the Ptolemaic theory of predicting the positions of heavenly bodies was adapted to regular practical use. However, the refinement of its computational techniques went on for two more centuries. The authors describe in detail the contribution of a certain Nicholaus de Heybach, active around 1400, to simplifying the prediction of eclipses. They present what they believe to have been the procedure of how he constructed the Table. Besides they reproduce the original explanation to the Table together with an English translation.
