The authors investigate the complex oscillation of solutions of linear differential equations \(y^{(n)}+b_{n-1}(z)y^{(n-1)}+\dots+b_ 0(z)y=f(z)\). The previous paper by the second author [Comment. Math. Univ. St. Pauli 38, No. 1, 11-20 (1989; Zbl 0678.34037)] discussed the case where \(b_ j\in\mathbb{C}[Z]\) (\(j=0,\dots,n-1\)) and \(f(z)\) was an entire function. In the present paper the authors discuss the case where \(b_ j\in\mathbb{C}(Z)\) and \(f(z)\) is a meromorphic function and obtain general estimates of the exponent of convergence of the zero-sequence and the pole-sequence of solutions for the above equation.
