    Für Cauchysche Anfangswertprobleme (bzw. Anfangsrandwertprobleme) wird eine geeignete Definition für ``sachgemäß gestellt'' eingeführt und eine hierzu notwendige algebraische Bedingung hergeleitet. Ausgehend von dieser Bedingung wird ein neuer Stabilitätsbegriff für Differenzenapproximationen diskutiert. Es wird bewiesen, daß aus der Stabilität der Semidiskretisierungen diejenige der Volldiskretisierungen folgt.
