In the second part [for part I see: ibid. 16, No. 11, 576-588 (1992; Zbl 0780.65068)], the piecewise parabolic finite analytic method (PPFAM) is used to discretize the stream function and vorticity equations. The numerical scheme thus obtained is used to simulate a laminar cavity flow and a laminar backward-facing step flow. The numerical simulation shows that the PPFAM is the least affected by numerical diffusion when compared with more traditional numerical schemes and that it can provide a stable and accurate numerical solution for real flow problems.
