A conforming Chebyshev spectral method for Poisson problems in rectangular domains is considered. A domain decomposition technique with four and six subdomains is developed. The solution is forced to be conforming, i.e. continuous at all points across the interfaces between the elements. Further, the normal derivative of the solution across the interfaces is forced to be continuous at only a finite number of points. The method is demonstrated on standard test problems including singularities.
