The purpose of this note is to show how results on vector bundles over a Hopf manifold, a non algebraic manifold, can be interpreted as generalizations of well-known results on vector bundles on projective spaces. In this fashion a theorem of \textit{J.-P. Serre} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 16, 363-374 (1966; Zbl 0144.08003)] and a theorem of \textit{A. Grothendieck} [Am. J. Math. 79, 121-138 (1957; Zbl 0079.17001)] are reproved.
