The author studies an interesting relation between two main approaches to the global study of pseudodifferential operators on the Euclidean \(n\)- space \(\mathbb{R}^n\); the calculus method [cf. \textit{L. Hörmander}, `The analysis of linear partial differential operators', Vol. I (1983; Zbl 0521.35001), Vol. II (1983; Zbl 0521.35002), Vol. III (1985; Zbl 0601.35001), Vol. IV (1985; Zbl 0612.35001)]\ and the Gelfand theory method [cf. \textit{H. O. Cordas}, `Spectral theory of linear differential operators and comparison algebras' (1987; Zbl 0727.35092)].
