In an earlier paper, we constructed the asymptotics for \(h\to 0\) of a solution of the Cauchy problem for the linearized Navier-Stokes equation \[ {\partial u\over\partial t}+ \langle v,\nabla\rangle u+\langle u,\nabla\rangle v+\nabla{\mathcal P}= \nu\Delta u,\tag{1} \] \[ \langle\nabla, u\rangle= 0,\quad u|_{t=0}= u_0\Biggl({x\over h}\Biggr),\quad \langle\nabla, u_0\rangle= 0. \] The principal term \(U(x,t,h)\) of the asymptotic solution of the problem (1) is defined by \[ U= {-i\over (2\pi)^{3/2}} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3} e^{{i\langle k,\xi\rangle\over h}-{\nu\over h^2} \int^t_0 p^2(t_1) dk_1} A(k,\xi, t)(k\times a(k)) dt|_{\xi= x_0(x,t)},\tag{2} \] where \(a(k)\) is the Fourier transformation of the vector potential of the initial velocity field \(u_0(x)\) decreasing at infinity. The vectors \(p(\xi,t)\), \(x_0(x,t)\) and the matrix \(A(k,\xi,t)\) are expressed by trajectories \({\mathcal X}(\xi,t)\) of the system of equations \(\dot{\mathcal X}= v({\mathcal X},t)\), \({\mathcal X}|_{t=0}= \xi\). In the present paper we calculate the asymptotics of the function \(U\) as \(t\to\infty\); in particular, we establish its exponential growth.
