The authors consider the system of differential equations governing the flow of a viscous heat conducting gas in an \(n\)-dimensional domain bounded by a rigid surface and by a free surface. The flow is assumed to be spherically symmetric (in a generalized sense for \(n\) dimensions). The problem is transformed by using ``spherical'' coordinates in \(n\) dimensions and then the mass-Lagrangian coordinates. For the transformed initial-boundary value problem, the authors prove an existence theorem and give a priori estimates for weak solution.
