To find a piecewise \(C^1\)-Hermite interpolation for a given set of data such that the interpolant satisfies the following conditions: It is monotone when the given set of data is monotone and is convex when the given set of data is convex, a method is obtained. Its expression is formed by cubic and quadratic polynomials. Its approximation order is four.
