The authors consider a class of iterative schemes for implicit Runge-Kutta methods. They obtain a modified scheme by substituting some of the iterations with another having a lower cost and not requiring the evaluation of the derivative function. They study the scheme's convergence and illustrate its efficiency with numerical experiments.
