The paper deals with the Nash equilibrium concept in non-cooperative games. A game is considered in which all players want and know that their partners want to reach Nash equilibrium but in which more than one such equilibrium exists. The problem to be solved is to find rational criteria under which the players select one particular equilibrium as the outcome of the game. Such criteria are suggested in the form of supplementary assumptions of the game model and their selectional effect is stated.
