Piecewise polynomial product integration rules are related to repeated interpolatory quadrature formulas, i.e., the given interval is divided into subintervals and the interpolatory quadrature rules are applied to the subintervals. Two families of formulas are obtained from the trapezoidal rule and the Simpson rule. Generalized weight functions are included in this concept. The paper concludes with many numerical examples.
