The paper concerns the system \[ \dot i\psi_t+\Delta\psi+ i\alpha\psi+ \phi\psi= f, \] \[ \phi_{tt}+(1- \Delta)\phi+ \beta\phi_t= |\psi|^2+ g, \] in \(\mathbb{R}^3\), where the coefficients \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) are positive. The existence of a maximal attractor in \(H^2\times H^2\) is shown, which attacks bounded sets of \(H^3\times H^3\) in the topology of \(H^2\times H^2\). The Kuratowskii \(\alpha\)-measure of noncompactness is used to show the asymptotic smoothness of the corresponding semigroup.
