The author recalls his personal memories of Paul Erdős from their 28 long connection and quotes several citations and mathematical problems from Erdős' letters originally written in Hungarian to the author and not published yet. From the stories we can familiarize ourselves with Erdős's as a witty and helpful person. The interesting quoted problems from combinatorical and probabilistic number theory present him as an intentive and efficient mathematician.
