The authors consider the problem of the analysis of a multiconductor transmission line (MTL). They proceed by taking the Laplace transform and discussing the structure of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the transformation matrix. They expand in terms of the transformation parameter \(s\) and provide the relevant algorithms. They show that for a multiconductor with \(n\) transmission lines, the computing cost in flops for expanding the various terms in the expansion is of the order \(n^3\). There is a discussion of the error involved in the process.
