The author considers the Cauchy problem to linear partial differential equations whose coefficients are entire functions. His interests are on the singularities and prolongation of solutions of the above Cauchy problem. The principal result of this note is to give some example of the Cauchy problem in which a domain of holomorphy of the solution has an exterior point. His proof depends on results of L. Bieberbach, P. Fatou and E. Picard on a biholomorphic mapping from an entire space to a domain which has an exterior point.
