Let \(D=\sum_{i=0}^{2m+1} e_i\frac{\partial}{\partial x_i}\) denote the Fueter (Cauchy, Dirac) operator, acting on a Clifford algebra \({\mathbb R}_{0,2m+1}\) of a real vector space \(V\) of dimension \(2m+1, m\in {\mathbb N}\), equipped by a quadratic form of negative curvature, where \(\{e_i\}_{i=1}^{2m+1}\) is an orthonormal basis for \(V\) and \(e_0=1\). The authors propose an interesting approach to analyticity for Clifford-algebra-valued functions. Namely, given an open set \(\Omega\) of \(S\oplus V\), where \(S\) is the set of scalars, a function \(f:\Omega\to {\mathbb R}_{0,2m+1}\) is (left) holomorphic Cliffordian in \(\Omega\) if and only if \(D\Delta^mf(x)=0\) (rather than \(Df(x)=0\) as for monogenic functions) for each \(x\in \Omega\), where \(\Delta\) is the Laplacian operator. The set of holomorphic Cliffordian functions strictly contains the set of (left) monogenic functions. In particular, the identity and all its entire powers, while not monogenic, are holomorphic in the considered sense. The authors investigate polynomial and singular solutions of the defining equation \(D\Delta^m f=0\), obtain integral representation formulas and derive analogues of Taylor and Laurent expansions for holomorphic Cliffordian functions.
