The author gives sufficient conditions for global nonexistence of solutions of the initial boundary value problem \[ u_t-\sum_{i=1}^{n} \frac{\partial}{\partial x_i} \left((d+|\nabla u|^{p-2}) \frac{\partial u}{\partial x_i}\right)+g(u,\nabla u)=f(u), \] \[ u(x,0)=u_0(x), \quad x\in \Omega, \qquad u(x,t)=0, \quad x\in\partial\Omega, \quad t>0, \] where \(\Omega\) is a domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), \(p\geqslant 2\), \(g\) and \(f\) are continuous functions which satisfy the following conditions: \[ (f(u),u)\geqslant 2(\alpha+1)G(u), \quad \forall u\in \mathbb{R}^1, \quad \alpha>0, \] where \[ G(u)=\int_0^u f(s) ds, \] \[ |g(u,v)|\leqslant c_1(|u|+|v|), \quad c_1>0, \quad \forall u\in \mathbb{R}^1, \quad \forall v\in \mathbb{R}^n . \]
