The paper contains some generalizations of de Rham's decomposition theorem by characterizing those pseudo-Riemannian manifolds equipped with an orthogonal net, which locally resp. globally allow a representation as a twisted resp. warped product. Two fundamental theorems are proved in the paper. Theorem 1 gives a sufficient condition for a TP-net \(E\) on a simply connected pseudo-Riemannian manifold \(M\) under which \(M\) is a warped product and \(E\) its product net. Similarly, Theorem 2 gives some sufficient conditions for a \(WP\)-net \(E\) on \(M\) under which \(M\) is warped product and \(E\) its product net. The geodesic completeness of some leaves of foliations of \(E\) or defined by these of \(E\) plays an essential role. The results are applied for studying hypersurfaces with harmonic curvature.
