The tubular neighborhood theorem in contact geometry. (Q1969625): Difference between revisions

It is the aim of this note to clarify the neighborhood geometry of submanifolds \(M\) in contact manifolds \(C,i: M\hookrightarrow C\). Here one has to distinguish between the tangential and the transversal case. The author proves existence and uniqueness of tangential embeddings and transversal constant rank embeddings. The proofs are given by the appropriate modifications of the symplectic case.
