The authors consider pointwise Osserman manifolds of order \(m\) and dimension 4. The main result of the paper reads: Theorem 3. A 4-dimensional Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\) is pointwise Osserman of order 3 iff it is pointwise Osserman of order 1. Relations with spaces of constant curvature and Einstein manifolds are established.
