The author proves solvability for the initial-boundary value problem of the motion of a non-Newtonian incompressible fluid with inhomogeneous viscosity. It is demonstrated that, if the initial values of the viscosity tend to infinity in some subdomains then, a weak solution converges to a weak solution to the problem of motion of rigid bodies in a fluid under hydrodynamic reactions.
