The authors prove existence and uniqueness theorems for incompressible viscous fluid flow between two concentric rotating spheres. The proof of existence is based on the streamfunction-velocity formulation of the original Navier-Stokes equations, followed by an auxiliary semi-discrete scheme and a compactness argument.
