Extensions of Steffensen's inequality (Q1577989): Difference between revisions

The author offers a new proof of the well-known Steffensen inequality using linear functionals and extreme points. The same idea of proof yields a generalization which contains several known inequalities. Further extensions, with weaker hypotheses, are presented.
