From the authors abstract: The authors study the isometric operator generated by a trigonometric system. It is known that this operator is used in problems with directional derivatives and in the theory of the Fourier series. The authors prove that this isometric operator is a pure shift. Moreover, they apply this fact to the inverse problem of magnetoresistence.
