The paper is concerned with the oscillatory behavior of the linear delay differential-difference system of neutral type \[ \frac{d}{dt}\left[x(t)-\sum_{j=1}^mB_jx(t-\tau_j)\right]= \sum_{j=1}^mA_jx(t-r_j), \tag{1} \] with \(x(t)\in\mathbb R^n\), \(A_j\) and \(B_j\) are real \(n\times n\)-matrices, \(\tau_j\) and \(r_j\) are positive real numbers. The authors provide some spectral bound conditions on the matrices \(A_j\), \(B_j\) which imply that (1) be totally oscillatory componentwise. Also the nonautonomous case of system (1) is discussed. Definitions of an oscillatory componentwise solution and of a totally oscillatory componentwise system are adopted from the book by \textit{I. Györi} and \textit{G. Ladas} [Oscillation theory of delay differential equations: with applications. Oxford: Clarendon Press (1991; Zbl 0780.34048)].
