The paper contains new coincidence and fixed-point results for condensing operators in cones of Banach spaces. It consists of four sections. In Section 2, the author establishes a variety of existence theorems for continuous condensing maps. These results are proved using the topological transversality theorem of Granas. In Section 3, results are established for weakly inward maps. Section 4 presents random analogues of the results in the previous sections. These results improve previous ones of Granas, Guenther, Lee and Deimling.
