A meet matrix is a complex-valued matrix \(S\) whose entries are indexed on a subset of a semilattice, having the form \(s_{ij}=f(x_i \wedge x_j)\). Most of the results deal with the case when \(f\) is in a class \(C_S\) of arithmetical matrices; the authors obtain upper and lower bounds for determinants and a formula for the inverse.
