The paper presents the equation \[ x''+ \varepsilon x'+(1+\varepsilon k)(\mu x^+ - \nu x^-)=f(t), \tag{1} \] where \(\varepsilon, k\) are parameters and \(\varepsilon\) is small. Here, \(f\) is a continuous and \(2\pi\)-periodic function and \((\mu,\nu)\) satisfying \(1/\surd \mu + 1/\surd \nu =2/n\), \(n\in \mathbb{N}\), is the so-called \(n\)th Fučík curve for the \(2\pi\)-periodic boundary value problem. The author is interested in \(2\pi\)-periodic solutions of large amplitude to (1), that is, in solutions whose amplitudes are \(O(1/\varepsilon)\) for \(\varepsilon \rightarrow 0\). Existence theorems for \(2\pi\)-periodic solutions of large amplitude to (1) are proved. Then, those results are used to discuss, for a given (arbitrary) right-hand member \(f\), the dependence of those large-amplitude solutions on the parameter \(k\). Finally, the dependence on \(k\) and \(\alpha\) is studied in the particular case \(f(t)=\alpha + \text{ cos}(nt)\), and corresponding numerical experiments are presented here.
