This article determines the dimension of the binary linear code generated by the incidence vectors of the points of the projective space \(PG(2n-1,q)\), \(q=2^t\), with the nondegenerate quadrics, of given Witt index, defining a given nonsingular symplectic bilinear form \(b\). It is shown that this dimension is equal to \((2n+1)^t\). So it is the same dimension when the nondegenerate quadrics are nondegenerate elliptic quadrics and when they are nondegenerate hyperbolic quadrics. This dimension is one less than the dimension of the binary linear code of the incidence vectors generated by the points of \(PG(2n,q)\) with the hyperplanes of \(PG(2n,q)\). This provides a link with the known result that if one considers a nondegenerate parabolic quadric \(Q\) of \(PG(2n,q)\) with nucleus \(r\), and one projects the quadric \(Q\) from \(r\) onto a hyperplane \(\Pi\) not passing through \(r\), then one obtains the symplectic polar space.
